Mr.Abdoul-Malik is a jazz-musician from New York City with Sudanese ancestors who became well-known as bass player for Thelonious Monk in the late 50’s/early 60’s. Besides that he recorded some strong solo-albums as an oud-player at the same time combining his jazz-skills & his Middle Eastern-heritage. Here’s his rare 2nd effort in the same vein as the astonishing debut. It’s the rarer Living-Stereo-edition. Unfortunately someone forgot his coffee-pot on the front-cover resulting in a heavy ring-ct, but that has been repaired so perfectly along some other minor wears that you wouldn’t even notice but on close look!!/scw/sps
