Here we go for the ultimate video-edition of Woodstock: You have the original movie in it’s Director’s Cut version on the first 2 discs. Then you’re gonna get 159 minutes of never before released outtakes (21 tracks!) from the movie plus a feature on the Bethel Woods Museum celebrating the festival on it’s original ground, another feature ‚Woodstock: From Festival to Feature‘ on the origins of the movie incl.footage from a 1970’s TV-show with Hugh Hefner & director Michael Wadleigh called ‚Playboy After Dark‘ on the other 2 discs (the 4th is actually a bonus for Amazon with additional material that ain’t coming with the regualr 3-DVD-edition!!). All DVDs come in seperate cardboard-covers. Above that you’d get a reprint of Life’s Special edition on Woodstock & an envelope with nice replicas of Woodstock memorabilia like a three-day-ticket, various search-notes and nice statistic-fact-sheet plus a 3-D 2-lucite-picture display in an acrylic-frame. All this comes in a cardboard-box that stucks in a schuber of fringed leather which has an iron-on Woodstock-patch as well./NTSC R1/English with various subtitles (though NOT German!)
