here’s a huge set of 34 mags of the leading Psychedelic/Progressive and Folk-fanzine of the late 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s from England writing about everthing from the old days to current groups and musicians. Mostly good researched stories based on interviews with former and currant band-members and artists combined with often unique pictures. Apart from ‚Bucketfull Of Brains‘ there’s no other longrunning-fanzine in this quality from the U.K. It was founded by Nick Saloman (a.k.a. Bevis Frond) with Phil McMullen and ran from 1989 to 2005 when Phil sold the zine and the name to the US. The new editors published 1 further issue in 2007 before the fanzine went into hiatus and nothing new was issed since. The fanzine is a unique source especially on new bands from the 90’s and early 2000’s as well as good researched stories about old heroes from the Psychedelic and Progressive heydays. The set is complete with all inlets and bonus EPs and CDs except for No.1 (I throw in an original inlet from that issue), No.36 (the last US-issue) and No.20, 22, 24, 26, 31, 34 & 35 have no EPs or CDs. Though still a unique opportunity to own one of THE best fanzines from the 90’s & 2000s in it’s original form which will be a well of information for anybody interested in Psychedelia and Progressive old and new. The single-issues have about 46 to 70 pages and are all written in english. Most of the issues are like new with only slight wears to the neutral covers of some singles as they were stored seperately from the mags during the years. But the vinyls and CDs are mostly unplayed and new.
